Why is the width of the stretch film set to 500mm?
The width of 500mm is an optimal width based on the operating habits of the packaging personnel during the use of the stretch film and the work efficiency.
In the normal manual winding process, the width of 500mm is the best for workers in the operation. If it is too wide, it will be very difficult to operate. Some people think that the narrower the width, the better, from the perspective of labor saving. Think so. However, there is another problem, that of work efficiency. For example, to pack a 1-meter-high carton, if you use 500mm wide stretch film for two or three turns, if you use 200mm, you need to wrap it for more than 5 turns to wrap it well. In this way, the work efficiency is much lower. Therefore, the size of 500mm width is an optimal width for workers to save labor and improve work efficiency, which is why this specification is the most stocked.
